Of course there will always be SOMETHING better. But at this price, it is a very nice purifier. Has TWICE the capacity of similarly priced purifiers. (418 sq ft room)

PROS: Price, Timer, high air flow, High quality filters, Filters only need changing 12-16 months, 4 speed settings, quiet on 1&2, fast cleaning on 3&4 still with decent sound level, visually pleasant, WORKS NOTICEABLY WITHIN >30 MINUTES!

CONS: no ionizer feature.

OTHER INFO: Takes 3 filters (change 12-16mo.) For constant use, speed 3 is advised. Catches particles all the way down to 0.3 microns. For reference, human hair is 100 microns. Rated for 418 Square feet rooms. REMEMBER TO CHECK SQUARE FOOTAGE RATING WHEN BUYING A PURIFIER, THIS IS IMPORTANT!

Yes - there are more expensive air purifiers that can do an effective job - but from a price/performance ratio - this is very good.
I have owned the 3M FP02, air ionizer, Hunter models too. This one gets the job done with clear evidence - strong airflow - and dirt accumulation in the filters. I have asthma and numerous severe allergies (dust, pollen etc.). This one does a good job of mitigating that. It has strong airflow that I also use it as a secondary fan.
Best of all - this range of models - are energy star certified.

Downsides:
1. Noise at level 4 can be loud (white noise) - but this is evidence of its strong air flow.
2. Filters can get expensive . To mitigate this, I use a secondary foam or 3M electrostatic filters on top of the HEPA - which I then wash every month. The foam or electrostatic 3M filters do an excellent job of prolonging the HEPA filters up to a year or more.
